The East Bay (Berkeley) Alumnae chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta is one of the fraternity's newest chapters, re-established in 2016. We provide a social and philanthropic experience for Thetas across Alameda and Contra Costa counties -- or for anyone who calls the greater East Bay home.
We are always looking for volunteers who want to get more involved, so please don't be shy! Let us know if you are interested in joining the board, hosting an event or just becoming a member. You can stay up to date with our most recent events by following us on Facebook and our events page.
Kappa Alpha Theta was founded in 1870 as the first Greek Letter Fraternity for women. Theta is for a lifetime. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow, Kappa Alpha Theta exists to nurture each member throughout her college and alumnae experience and to offer a lifelong opportunity for social, intellectual, and moral growth as she meets the higher demands of mature life.
